Red Dead Redemption is a GTA style(sandbox) western style game that was made by the same team over at Rockstar.This is a third person shooter Action-Adventure with flakes of Rpg in it. The Story protagonist John Marsh that has to hunt down this old gang, how and what you do to them is up to you. The story takes place over the huge map that that has that western feel of the reuged planes to snow top mountains to lush River Valleys and Forest.All the weapons in the game are of the time period. The cover system will stay the same as GTA.Auto aim is still there on lower levels of difficulty.
The online is suppose to be the similar to the online of the GTA IV with the death match, races (with horses),and Capture the flag with bags of gold that slow you down . There is a newer type of games as well there is a kill of the hill almost game where you have to hold a bag of gold for the longest to win .free mode which is now the lobby up sixteen players that party up and team up for the next game that is chosen or that stays together and kill every one else that ain’t in your posse. Free mode you can go hunting, exploring, the online you will have ranks that when rank up you can unlock better horse and weapons that add a nice RPG element to the game play. Like single player there is a cover system but in multilayer there is a normal/hard/expert levels so the auto aim is done away with at the higher levels
I expect this game to be a Day one game for a lot of people as well is true for me.
